Acumatica ERP 2025 R1 introduces the Modern UI, a new user interface technology designed to enhance the experience of working with Acumatica forms.

Responsive Layouts
With more users accessing Acumatica ERP from mobile devices, the Modern UI offers a more mobile-friendly experience. Unlike the Classic UI, which uses fixed layouts that may not scale well on all devices, the Modern UI features flexible layouts that adjust dynamically to different screen sizes. Form Title Bar Menus
In the Classic UI, the Customization and Tools menus appear separately in the form title bar. In the Modern UI, these menus are combined into a single Settings menu, providing a streamlined way to access key commands.

Grouped Fieldsets
To enhance clarity, the Modern UI visually groups related data entry fields using color blocks, making key settings easier to identify at a glance. These color blocks are not present in the Classic UI.

Elements with Magnifier Buttons
Fields with magnifier buttons allow users to open lookup tables and select values. In the Classic UI, if a value was selected, users clicked the Edit button to open the related record. In the Modern UI, selected values now appear as clickable links, maintaining a consistent and visually uniform experience.

Errors and Warnings in Table Values
Both the Classic and Modern UI display error and warning icons next to the affected tab and cell when incorrect values are entered in a table. However, the Modern UI enhances visibility by also highlighting the entire row containing the error. Users can hover over the icon or highlighted row to view the message details.
