Although Dynamics SL will be sunsetting in 2024, there was a new release in December of 2024.These features are available for download if you are a Dynamics SL user and are interested in seeing how these may benefit your company. A few new features to note in the new release are explained below:

Accounts Payable Generate 1099 Electronic Files (03.742.00)

The IRS will provide a free service to electronically file 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC files. Information and full instructions can be found on the IRS website.

The AP Generate 1099 Electronic Files (03.742.00) screen can now generate a CSV file ready for import directly into the IRS Taxpayer Portal. This process will add forms until it has 100, and then a new file will be created. This is the default for the form which can be overwritten.

Project Budget vs. Actual Amounts/Unit Reports (PA.200.00)

This report in Dynamics SL is designed to use a formula field to display a unit data or amount data. The formula has been modified so that the report will only show the unit data when the “unit” field appears. As an example, “Budget vs Actual Unit” would produce the report explained.
