Microsoft has released Dynamics SL 2018 Cumulative Update 1 (CU1) and it is now available for download. Below is a summary of some of the enhancements:

• Vendor Inactive Status – SL users can now set the status of a vendor to “Inactive”. When a vendor has this status, users will not be allowed to select a vendor for any new transactions. When changing the status to “Inactive” Dynamics SL will check to make sure the vendor doesn’t have any open purchase orders and that the vendor isn’t listed as the preferred vendor for any inventory items.
• Voucher and Adjustment Entry Approval – This allows for one users to enter the data and a different user to review, edit and approve the transaction.
• Correct Journal Transactions – The reversal process in the Correct Journal Transaction (01.012.00) screen will set the project related unit values correctly.
• Flexible Billings Invoice Printing – The provides users a way to store preliminary and final invoices to DocShare (SharePoint) sites or network locations.
• Expense Attachment – The Project Expense entry screen now allows for adding and viewing of attachments regardless of the status of the expense report. This allows users to attach missing receipts to processed expense reports.
• Microsoft Power Apps & Flow – In addition to update the existing Power App, CU1 also includes nine additional Flow email notifications
• Year End Updates – CU1 includes the Year End updates for 2018
• TLS 1.2 – Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 is now supported with CU1
• Microsoft SQL 2017 – SL 2018 CU1 has completed testing against Microsoft SQL 2017
