With Acumatica 6, to be released on September 8th, 2016, the Acumatica CRM Outlook Add-In will also be available. With the Outlook Plug-In you will be able to do the following with just one click:
The add-in automatically will look up the sender’s email address in CRM. If the contact doesn’t exist you can easily mark the email as a lead, opportunity or add them as a contact.
Even within Outlook all Acumatica user permission and security rules are still enforced. And you can still use the Microsoft Exchange Synchronization to sync contacts, tasks, events and more with Acumatica.
