Acumatica has announced the 2019 R1 release is now generally available. This continues Acumatica’s commitment to enhance the product with two major updates a year. Platform usability, general business applications and industry specific enhancements highlight the areas in this release. Some of the improvements are highlighted below:

• Generic Inquiries can now have conditional highlighting, similar to what you can do with Microsoft Excel. Conditional Highlighting can highlight certain cells in the inquiry to alert the user to review and take action as needed
• The Universal Search function in Acumatica was already very impressive, but with this release your search results will improve with Machine Learning. Your search results will improve over time based.
• Multifactor authentication is now available and will provide increased security for your Acumatica system
• Organizations with multiple companies that have different fiscal year ends can now live in the same Acumatica tenant, allowing those companies to share vendors, inventory, employees, etc.
• Contracts with multiple performance obligations now have additional support for compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15
• Project transactions can now be entered in different currencies.  Project balances can be maintain in both the base currency and the project currency.
• Project budget forecast can now be done for each financial period
• A service personnel’s mobile device can now locate and record the GPS location of the device
