Acumatica 2017 R2 – Our Vote For The Top Five New Features
This month, Acumatica released the latest version of their award-winning ERP software. Acumatica 2017 R2 comes with a host of new features and we have highlighted the five we find most interesting.
- Project Accounting – As a VAR who focuses on project-centric businesses we are excited about all the project accounting improvements. Acumatica has a new integration with Smartsheet – a cloud visual scheduling provider. Budgeting has been improved with 2017 R2 and commitment tracking is now available. Also, milestone tracking and billing and several workflow improvements are new to 2017 R2
- CRM enhancements – Marketing lists have been improved for better tracking and analysis. And the lead tracking and campaign management (where you can associate activities with a campaign – yah!) have been updated
- New User Interface – Acumatica continues to find ways to improve an interface from a previous version that I thought was about as good as it can get. Now with 2017 R2, users can use the current interface or the new interface which can be tailored for your company’s specific processes or individual tendencies.
- Adobe Sign – Now it is fast and easy for Acumatica users to securely sign documents across multiple devices from within Acumatica 2017 R2. With Adobe Sign, you can prepare and send documents, like contracts, to be e-signed with just a few clicks.
- Manufacturing Edition – Formally known as JAMS, the Acumatica Manufacturing Edition is the latest fully integrated vertical solution joining Field Service Edition and eCommerce Edition.
