Recently Microsoft has released Dynamics SL 2015 CU2 (Cumulative Update).  This is mostly a collection of bug fixes, but it does include support for some additional Microsoft products.

With release CU2 the following are supported:

• SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2 has been added.
• Support for Microsoft Office 2016 is now available
• Microsoft SharePoint 2016 is now supported.

There are many bug fixes included with CU2.  I found a couple to be noteworthy:

• Journal Transactions Quick Query (Bug ID 37923) – The Period to Post column is now displayed instead of the Period Entered column.  Finally!
• Company Level Access Rights for Project Controller (Bug ID 26065) – Access rights now for most screens is the lesser of the access rights a user has in the screen for the logged in company and the company of the item they are accessing.  So, if you assign different access rights to users for Project Controller screen based upon companies – users may notice a difference in their access rights.
