What’s new in Acumatica 5.0?
The latest release of Acumatica brings a number of exciting new features and enhancements to deliver a better, faster, and stronger platform for your business.
To begin, let’s start with Acumatica for iOS and Android devices… Acumatica’s new mobile app makes it easier than ever to access Acumatica at any time, from anywhere. Key features include real-time access, automatic synchronization, increased functionality, and mobile device integration to leverage the existing capabilities of your mobile device. Whether you are an iOS or Android user, the functionality of the app is the same across both platforms and there is no cost to Acumatica customers.
In addition to creating a mobile app for users, Acumatica has also developed a B2B portal. This serves as a self-service portal, allowing both you and your business partners to view what’s in stock. Your customers can browse inventory, place orders, and check order status 24/7. Because this portal is directly connected to the same database as you ERP system, prices and inventory details will remain up to date providing real and accurate information.
Another exciting change with Acumatica 5.0 is Microsoft Exchange integration. For all you Exchange and Office 365 users: the solution is here! Acumatica makes it easy to sync data and records- including email, contacts, tasks, events and appointments- with your existing Exchange and 365 accounts. All data works on a two-way sync, meaning you can update information in either Exchange/Office 365 or Acumatica and the change will automatically be reflected in both locations. To do this there are NO plug-ins required.
In addition to these major changes, there are also many general feature and platform improvements for Acumatica 5.0. To touch the surface- interfaces have been improved, universal search has been rebuilt, expense claims redesigned, and enhancements have been made to both the Financial and Distribution Suites.
