Acumatica’s second release of 2024 brings over 350 updates and changes to the system. The commitment to customer success through technological innovation shines through this new release, and many of the new product features will enhance agility, efficiency, and security.

With over 350 new product updates, many of them coming directly from the Acumatica community, this release is extra special. These customer focused updates are sure to help increase productivity and efficiency. Many of these updates use artificial intelligence and machine learning throughout the system, and Acumatica is excited to continue to use these technologies to enhance information gathering to make this process more intuitive and natural.

Here is how these themes are shown in each of the industry editions:

1. Construction Edition: Streamlined billing processes and improved cash flow management with on-demand Proforma invoice creation, validated billing, and new project quote statuses will be available with the newest release. Acumatica imported cash-flow management will allow for your construction business to soar!
2. Distribution Edition: The newest release of Acumatica will have Sales Order Margin Analysis Anomaly Detection leveraging advanced AI algorithms to identify patterns and anomalies overlooked by traditional methods and other updates. The distribution edition is full of updates to help decrease errors.
3. Manufacturing Edition: Enhancements to the estimating module, including the new Estimate Worksheet, allow manufacturers to estimate costs for various quantities with greater accuracy. The manufacturing edition is full of new and exciting updates to improve accuracy and streamline business processes.
4. Retail Edition: Acumatica now supports Amazon returns, and the Shopify integration allows volume pricing and quantity rules. The possibilities with amazon and Shopify are continuing to grow for retail businesses.
5. General Business Edition: New updates will allow for a direct integration with banks to automate reconciliation and expense management. This will save time and resources!

Not only will each of the editions have updates, but the Acumatica platform as a whole is also getting a facelift. The User Interface is newly revamped with features for a more easily customized experience and screen sharing layout. AL and ML features across the entire platform are increased making 2024 R2 full of new enhancements.
