For a while now we’ve been hearing about and discussing the lifeline of the Microsoft Dynamics SL. It is a legacy software that has been around for quite some time. And we all knew this day was coming, but on September 30, Microsoft announce the discontinuation of Microsoft Dynamics SL 2018 for new customers.

This means as of September 30, 2023, Dynamics. SL will no longer be available for purchase for new customers. Along with this news, came the news that dynamics SL 2018’s mainstream support has been extended until January 9, 2024, and its extended support date will remain open until July 11, 2028. Existing customers will still be able to acquire new licenses after September 30, 2023, but there’s no word on how long this will continue. So after all of this time of wondering where the future of Dynamics SL is going, we finally received some news.
