Acumatica released its 2024 R1 product in late March, but today on April 9th, it officially became available for everyone! We are very excited about some of the new features and updates throughout the system and over the next several weeks we will have some blogs and videos to show you these. Today, we were able to sit it on a video demo of the product from Acumatica featuring some of the updates of the core product and financial module. Below will outline these updates.

CRM
• Advanced case tracking and updates to case closure
• Email templates with the ability to be tailored by branch for CRM, project, service management, and more
• Notifications for support specialists when cases are opened or closed

Manufacturing
• Improved material demand planning by forecasting optional stock and non-stock kit components
• Configure MRP and DRP to include or exclude sales order types
• Updates to reporting functionality for manufacturing

Projects
• Ability to enter negative receipts and process a refund if necessary, for faster GL reconciliation
• Streamlined workflows for releasing documents and invoices
• New and improved side panel for the Pro Forma Invoice to ensure timely vendor payments

Distribution
• Improved warehouse management activities with ability for bi-directional picking
• Configure new workflows for invoices, credit and debit memos, and more
• New Distribution Requirements Planning application which will improve demand planning and forecasting

Overall Platform Enhancements
• Configure new reports with the ability to use a generic inquiry to create a generic inquiry
• Improved business event functionality with new actions and triggers for email notifications
