With the turn of a new year, Acumatica will be releasing new product features in its 2022R1 release. Acumatica’s new release is focused on working smart on the go, global capabilities, and leading the industry. Below is an overview of some of the features that will be included for the Acumatica platform and the mobile app:

The Acumatica Mobile App has will see some major changes will the new release in the coming weeks. The app will appear much more modern and will have the same workspaces that the desktop version of Acumatica has.
Acumatica has released the integration of two e-signature platforms; Adobe DocuSign and Acumatica e-sign. Additionally, Microsoft Teams has managed availability within Acumatica for easier use. Dashboards across Acumatica have gotten a face-lift and there will be new features within these. The main new feature is the data sorting for specific Key Performance Indicators on dashboards.

Acumatica is striving for best in class functionally with every new release. Below are a few of the ways Acumatica will achieve this with the new release:

CRM:
The CRM feature within Acumatica will see many new feature changes. Records will now indicate when duplicates are entered and will allow users to link and merge like records. The events portion of the CRM will now be viewed easier with side panels and time zones.

Financials:
There are several new features that are being added and updated to the financial modules. Multiple base currency will now be available in additional modules including CRM, fixed assets, and deferred revenues. There is also now a way to enter the customer payment type, including an enhancement to credit card payment processing. Also, there has been an update to many of the forms for easier use.

Here are some more specifics for a few of individual modules within Acumatica:

Construction:
The construction module of Acumatica will have many new features including an update to project tax codes and the ability to use the multi-currency function. Also, unit-based project billing will become available with the release of 2022R1 and there will be the simplification of change orders and quotes in the system.

Distribution:
Within the distribution module, blanket sales orders will become available. This will also give the ability to ship to multiple places from the same sales order.

There are many more features that have changed and have been added as a result of the 2022R1 release for Acumatica. The release date is set for mid-March but is subject to change. We are hopeful to see these changes in the system soon!
