With Acumatica 2021 R2 we can now limit the visibility of certain account groups to a group of users. This means we can limit users’ ability to drill down into a labor account group so they can’t see other employees’ hourly rates and wages. Other users may have different rights that would allow them to drill down and see this information.

To use this feature you must have the “Row-Level Security” feature enabled in the Enable / Disable Features (CS100000) form. After turning on this feature a new Project Transaction Visibility Account Group (PM103000) form will be visible. Within this form, you can configure restriction groups to manage which users can see which account groups. Once activated, the selected users will not be able to drill down and view transactions where the debit or credit account group is defined in the restriction group.

• Project Transaction Register (PM633000)
• Project Cost Transaction History (PM706230)
• Project Transaction Inquiry (PMGI0035)
